Margie's Comments: Tidewater Inn is the latest book by Colleen Coble in a long list of excellent romantic suspense stories. The setting is exquisite, a barrier island off the coast of North Carolina. And as always, it plays a role in the story. The characters are believable; their occupations are interesting. And the suspense factor is wonderful. As always with this author, I've found another great read. I highly recommend this book to lovers of mystery and suspense and romance.(The publisher provided me with a free e-book copy in exchange for a review.)

Margie's Comments: I always look forward to reading a new Colleen Coble book. Blue Moon Promise is the first in a new series set in Texas. I found the first fifty pages or so hard to get into for a couple of reasons: Lucy seemed to strive too hard to be seen as competent and several details in timing and weather were inconsistent. But once we got past that, the story flowed much better. Overall, the characters are endearing and well developed as the story moves along. The premise of marriage by proxy is intriguing and laugh-out-loud funny in places. Not only are Lucy and Nate getting to know each other, but Lucy finds life on the ranch very different from what she's used to. Tarantulas, attacking mongrels, family and friends all present their challenges and even some intrigue. Knowing who to trust and who to avoid is a lesson that's hard for many of us, and it was no different for Lucy. She has to rely on the Lord to show her the way to true love and trust in her marriage and in life.

Margie's comments: The Lightkeeper's Bride is the second in Colleen Coble's series set around a lighthouse on the Pacific coast. The mixture of mystery, history, and romance is a perfect blend in this delightful story. And Will and Katie are once again very real characters with flaws who strive to serve the Lord first in their lives. While this book is a part of a series, it very definitely stands alone. You don't have to read The Lightkeeper's Daughter in order to keep up with the story. It was good to "visit" with the characters in the first book again. I highly recommend this book to readers of mystery and history and romance.

Margie's comments: Colleen Coble has delivered yet another excellent book in the Rock Harbor series. When I got the galley pages to proofread, I was excited to learn that Colleen wrote another chapter in Bree Nichol's life. It felt like old-home week. I love Bree, Samson (her search-and-rescue dog), son Davey, and husband Kade. What a fun—and surprising—read. It was great to reconnect with all the characters who make up this series, as well as enjoy another great mystery. Even if you haven't read the other books in this series, if you're a mystery lover, you won't be disappointed with Cry in the Night.
