These verses describe my week:
When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul. . . . But the LORD has been my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge. (Psalm 94:19, 22 NASB)
When I was upset and beside myself, you calmed me down and cheered me up. . . . But GOD became my hideout, God was my high mountain retreat. (Psalm 94:19, 22 MSG) I love this paraphrase, because the Lord truly is my
high mountain retreat. He even gave me a physical reminder of that in
the form of our cabin at 9000 ft. in the Colorado Rockies.
