Verse of the Day

Remembering where I was eight years ago. On our way to school, Randy and I were listening to the radio when the first tower was hit. By the time we walked into the school, the second plane flew into the second tower. Talk about changed lesson plans! God gave me these verses to share with my students (which then included Randy). They were a comfort then, they are still a comfort today.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah. (Psalm 46:1–3)
