Verse of the Day

I was reminded of this again this afternoon through two different conversations: No matter how deep, dark, and dry the valley the Lord has allowed us to walk through, He will always use it for our good and His glory. Always. And in the midst of those times, He refreshes His children through blessing and fellowship with other believers. As I was singing this morning to Peyton (our beautiful 3 1/2-week-old granddaughter), "God is so good! God is so good! God is so good, He's so good to me." Always.

"And the LORD will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire in scorched places, and give strength to your bones; and you will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will raise up the age-old foundations; and you will be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of the streets in which to dwell."  (Isaiah 58:12)
